Oh Christmas Tree...

Last weekend, Chris and I drove to Red Feather to find our first Christmas tree! We were prepared for the journey with LOTS of food and a thermos full of Starbuck's peppermint hot chocolate (YUM!). We got there and had our picture taken with Smoky the Bear!!!

We had to search far... and wide....

for the perfect tree. Finally... we found it!!!

And sawed it down.. bwa ha ha!

By then, a blizzard hit! Chris dragged the tree to the car and we hauled it home.

Once we got home, it was a little bigger than I remembered it being...

However, we were able to chop it down to size and put it up in the house!


It is not completely decorated, but we'll post the final product!
